Welcome to Puerto Rico Chamber of Commerce’s website, the “Voice and Action of the Private Enterprise” on the island.

It is with great enthusiasm that I welcome all sectors, that from different fronts, contribute to boost the Puerto Rican economy. Especially, the local businesses whose effort, dedication and potential are of incalculable value for our progress.

From the only professional organization that brings together the entire private sector in Puerto Rico, we invite you to join efforts with our new 2023-2024 work team, composed of our Board of Directors, Committee Presidents, Advisors and Directors, all businessmen and businesswomen of high caliber and vast experience.

This diverse team, together with members from all over the island, will continue the work that the Puerto Rico Chamber of Commerce has carried out for more than 109 years. Hand in hand, we will seek to strengthen the growth of private enterprises inside and outside the archipelago. As has been characteristic of our organization, we will do it hand in hand with the state, federal and international government sector with the mission of promoting new opportunities.

Together with this dynamic team, and our members, we will continue the work that our Puerto Rico Chamber of Commerce has carried out for the past 109 years. Together we will work to strengthen the growth of business trade inside and outside our island. In collaboration with the state, federal and international government sector we will enhance our opportunities.

During the past years, we have experienced great challenges that range from the incessant demographic changes —with a population that continues to decrease— to others such as the transformation of the workplace, personnel expectations, inflation, and its consequences on the cost of living.

Faced with these challenges, we continue with impetus and determination; focused on strengthening the private sector, through strategic alliances, advocacy, and education. It is up to us to encourage calm debate, to find new ways to make our businesses more competitive and thus strengthen the business ecosystem. Undoubtedly, this work requires that we leave behind speeches that could diminish the competitive potential of local businesses and focus our efforts on building an economy based on companies with local capital.

On this web page, you will find our work plan, you will be able to access multiple market analyses, consumer and business statistics that are updated every six months. We also collect public opinion studies. The available material is up to date with our business circumstances.

Once again, I invite you to join efforts with our team. Constructive dialogue, strategic planning, and multi-sector collaboration will enhance our goals of strengthening private enterprise and creating a better Puerto Rico.
