Official Holidays’ Calendar
POLITICAL CODE:
For the purposes of this Code, holidays are: Sundays, January 1st, February 22nd, March 22nd, Good Friday, May 30th, July 4th, July 25th, the first Monday of September (known as Labor Day), December 25th, all days on which general elections are held on the Island, and any day designated by the President of the United States, the Governor of Puerto Rico, or the Legislative Assembly for the observance of a day of fasting, Thanksgiving, or a holiday.
Whenever any of these days falls on a Sunday, the following Monday shall be considered a holiday.
