Official Holidays’ Calendar

POLITICAL CODE:

Holidays, within the meaning of this Code, are: Sundays; the first day of January; the twenty-second day of February; the twenty-second day of March; Good Friday; the 30th day of May; the fourth day of July; the twenty-fifth day of July; the first Monday of September, which shall be known as Labor Day; the twenty-fifth day of December; all days on which general elections are held on the Island; and each day designated by the President of the United States, the Governor of Puerto Rico, or the Legislative Assembly for the observance of a day of fasting, a day of thanksgiving, or a holiday. Whenever any of the aforementioned days falls on a Sunday, the following Monday shall be observed as the holiday.
