We are a non-profit organization, located in Mayagüez. We represent and help merchants in the western region of Puerto Rico.
Puerto Rico West Chamber of Commerce, Inc. is a non-profit corporation organized under the laws of Puerto Rico. The CCOPR is organized with the purpose of advancing human progress, fostering an economic, political, educational, technological and social climate favorable to the development of private enterprise; especially from the western area of Puerto Rico. As part of these aims and purposes, the CCOPR is to promote and strengthen points of union between trade, industry and the professions; implement and maintain principles of fairness and equity in business practices; to study and manage appropriate legislation to protect and boost trade, industry and professions.
Over the years, the Puerto Rico West Chamber of Commerce, Inc. has contributed the fruit of the work for the good of western commerce. The CCOPR has also supported initiatives in defense of the full development of the Port of Mayagüez, the Mayagüez Eugenio María de Hostos Airport, the Rafael Hernández airport in Aguadilla, the Porta del Sol PR Project and the reopening of the Mayagüez Juan A. Rivero Zoo. Similarly, the CCOPR has made a common front on issues of legislation that benefit small and medium-sized traders. This organization has a faithful commitment to the economic development of the Porta del Sol region.
We have comfortable offices located on the 9th floor (905) of Building 101 Méndez Vigo Oeste, on Méndez Vigo Street in the city of Mayagüez.
