Lcda. Alicia Lamboy Mombille

Her practice includes assisting clients in securing environmental clearances, zoning and construction permits, site development, and operation approvals issued by Federal and Commonwealth agencies, and autonomous Municipalities. In her practice, she represents clients involved in alternative renewable energy projects, in areas related to power purchase agreements, zoning, permitting and interconnection issues.
Ms. Lamboy-Mombille delivers advice in the preparation of environmental assessments and environmental impact statements for compliance with environmental public policy requirements, and in location consultation, zoning and permitting aspects required for the development of residential, commercial, industrial, and utility projects. She represents industrial and commercial clients in environmental compliance issues related to air, water and land pollution control and natural resource regulations and provides assistance in environmental due diligence and permitting investigations related to commercial transactions. Ms. Lamboy also assists clients in securing licenses and authorizations required to start operations and, in registration of regulated products with regulatory agencies.
Ms. Lamboy also counsels and represents clients before the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services who require visas and other protections for employees born outside the United States.
She has participated in various committees of the Puerto Rico Chamber of Commerce. Under the presidency of Engineer Raúl Gayá, she led the Sustainable Promotion Unit, overseeing the operation of five committees. Additionally, she spearheaded the efforts to hold the successful Future Cities Summit in November 2012. Since 2014, she chaired the Energy and Water Committee for several years and presided over the Puerto Rico Chamber of Commerce from 2017 to 2018.
