Adienid Muñiz

Chairwoman of the Professional and Businesswomen’s Network, Puerto Rico Chamber of Commerce

Adienid Muñiz Cotté is a Puerto Rican entrepreneur with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and a Master’s degree in Journalism and Communications. She worked in the private sector for 10 years at Ford Motor Company in the United States and Coca Cola Puerto Rico Bottlers in Puerto Rico in their respective sales and marketing departments. Eight years ago, she formally ventured into the retail business with her women’s clothing and accessories store, Ah Là Laà Lifestyle Boutique, located in San Juan.

Her ability to empathize with the needs of others and observe market and consumer behaviors has honed her skill in accurately identifying business strengths and helping others achieve the same. Additionally, as a small business owner and mother, she is intimately familiar with the challenges faced by the SME community in Puerto Rico and the resources needed for women to develop their fullest potential.

As the President of the Network of Women Entrepreneurs and Professionals, her goal is to highlight women’s needs to pave the way for business equality and ensure that the country’s merchant community develops equitably, and that both men and women continue working as the team we are to leave a well-directed future for the generations that follow.
