PUERTO RICO CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND JETBLUE ANNOUNCE PARTNERSHIP TO BOOST THE ISLAND’S BUSINESS SECTOR

San Juan, Puerto Rico – February 25, 2025

The Puerto Rico Chamber of Commerce (CCPR) and JetBlue have announced a partnership that establishes the airline as the CCPR’s exclusive partner for the next three years. This agreement aims to strengthen the relationship between both entities and offer exclusive benefits to Chamber members, positioning JetBlue as a key ally for Puerto Rico’s business community.

As part of this strategic alliance, JetBlue will provide a sponsorship, which includes an annual membership in the CCPR. Among the benefits available to Chamber members are preferential airfare discounts of up to 5%, access to JetBlue’s corporate benefits program, Mosaic status nominations for selected CCPR executives, status matches, and JetBlue travel certificates.

“This agreement with JetBlue represents a significant step in our commitment to supporting Puerto Rico’s business community. Air connectivity is a key factor in business growth on the island, and having a strategic partner like JetBlue allows us to provide our members with concrete tools and benefits, facilitating expansion opportunities and strengthening the sector’s competitiveness,” said Luis Pizarro Otero, Esq., President of the Puerto Rico Chamber of Commerce. The agreement also includes opportunities for JetBlue to participate in events organized by the CCPR, allowing the airline to present its programs and products to the business community. Additionally, JetBlue will have visibility in the Chamber’s promotional materials and digital platforms, reinforcing its presence within Puerto Rico’s business ecosystem.

“As Puerto Rico’s largest airline, we are proud to partner with the Puerto Rico Chamber of Commerce as the exclusive airline partner, reinforcing our deep commitment to the island’s businesses and community,” said Daniel Shurz, head of revenue, network, and enterprise planning, JetBlue. “Puerto Rico has been a key part of JetBlue’s network for more than two decades, and we remain committed to providing customers with low fares and great service while connecting them to our extensive network across North America, Europe, Latin America, and the Caribbean. We look forward to working alongside the Chamber to drive economic growth, foster business opportunities, and continue investing in Puerto Rico’s future.”

With over 20 years of service in Puerto Rico, JetBlue has positioned itself as the island’s leading airline, operating in San Juan, Aguadilla, and Ponce and transporting more than 3.9 million passengers to and from Puerto Rico in 2024. The airline’s commitment to Puerto Rico is reflected in its service expansion, including the launch of its premium Mint experience on the San Juan-New York (JFK) route.

This agreement reaffirms the commitment of both organizations to Puerto Rico’s economic and business development by facilitating access to key resources for entrepreneurs and strengthening the island’s air connectivity to strategic destinations in North America, Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean.

Additionally, in 2024, JetBlue and Banco Popular de Puerto Rico announced the launch of the JetBlue Business Mastercard credit card, a product aimed at commercial clients in Puerto Rico within the small and medium-sized business segment. This partnership highlights JetBlue’s commitment to offering innovative products and programs tailored to the local market and supporting the business community.
