Margaret Ramírez-Báez, Esq.
President Elect
Lcda. Margaret Ramírez Báez is a lawyer and entrepreneur both in Puerto Rico and internationally. Currently, she serves as CEO of Legalmente PR, LLC, a firm providing legal services and consulting to businesses, individuals, and government entities. Additionally, alongside her sister, she co-founded and co-owns ProntoCare SRL, a company offering wellness services, diagnostics, and medical specialties across various disciplines in the Dominican Republic. She also serves as Director of Corporate and Government Affairs at the family-owned Air Charter Inc., the fastest-growing 100% Puerto Rican airline operating under the trade names Air Flamenco and Flamenco Cargo.
For Lcda. Margaret Ramírez, education, business, corporate culture, and free enterprise are the formula for individuals and nations to lift themselves out of poverty. In 2005, she joined the Puerto Rico Chamber of Commerce through its University Chapters, which she chaired in 2010 under the motto “Live the Entrepreneurial Passion,” with a mission to promote entrepreneurship among university students. Upon graduation, she became a member of the Puerto Rico Chamber of Commerce, where she has served multiple terms, including as a member of the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee, First Vice President in 2021-2022, Chair of the Young Entrepreneurs Committee (2015-2016), Chair of the Businesswomen and Professional Women Committee (2015-2016), Chair of the Transportation Committee (2020-2021), Chair of the Legislation and Lobbying Committee (2023-2024), and again Chair of the Network of Businesswomen and Professional Women (2023-2024).
Lcda. Ramírez earned a Bachelor’s degree with honors in Business Administration from the University of Sagrado Corazón and a Master’s degree with honors in Finance from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico. She also graduated with honors with a Juris Doctor degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Ponce and is admitted to practice law by the Supreme Court of Puerto Rico. Lcda. Ramírez holds a diploma in Comparative Law from the Ortega y Gasset Foundation in Madrid, Spain. She completed a diploma in Project Management from the University of Puerto Rico and is certified as a Human Resources and Labor Relations Manager (CHRMP) by the Institute of Higher Education.
