Muriel Lázaro

Muriel Lázaro Javier, public relationist, certified under Lic. R-46, with more than 20 years of experience working on public relations and in the area of marketing in private corporations, public-private alliances and in alliances to non-profit organizations. As a reference, we can name Philip Morris of PR, Kraft Foods of PR, Nestlé, Master Group, Caribe Paint, Microsoft, and the pharmaceutical industry among which are Merck, Johnson & Johnson, Lifescan, Purdue and Pfizer. On the infrastructure side is Metropistas, a P’3 infrastructure private-public partnership under Puerto Rico Highway and Transportation Authority. Among the non-profit organizations in which it has served on the Board and worked as a member of its committees are: United Way of PR, Puerto Rico Chamber of Commerce, Public Relations Association of PR, PR Manufacturers Association, Sales & Marketing Executives Association (SME), Centro para Puerto Rico (Sila M. Calderón Foundation), PR Boy Scout Council and Centro de Ayuda Social, a municipal community non-profit organization. Also, she is a member of the WAOPF, World Association of Female Professionals since 2017.
Her educational training, Muriel Lázaro Javier, holds a Degree in Marketing from the Inter-American University of Puerto Rico, Metro Campus with an MBA in Public Relations from the University of the Sacred Heart. In 2015, at Rutgers University, Camden, New York, she obtained a Public Administration Certification with Community Development, being an integral part in the project of developing of a school care initiative in the disadvantaged community located in the Vietnam Ward, Cataño, Puerto Rico. Muriel Lázaro is certified by PROSHA with 30 hours in construction and 30 hours General. As latest achievement, Muriel obtained a certification on Business Resiliency at George Mason University, Virginia.
Currently, she is a Board member of the Regulatory Board of Public Relations Professionals named by the Governor, and an active member of the Puerto Rico Chamber of Commerce. She is also a leader of P’3 Committee and active member of the Sales & Marketing Executives Association (SME).
