Puerto Rico Chamber of Commerce Invites to Forum: Update on Challenges and Opportunities for Businesses in Puerto Rico with a Special Focus on Economic Outlook and Health Plans
The Puerto Rico Chamber of Commerce announces the upcoming Health Forum: Update on Challenges & Opportunities for Businesses in Puerto Rico, an event organized by its Health and SME Committees, focused on economic outlooks and health plans. The event will take place on Thursday, December 4, at the Grand Ballroom of the Condado Plaza Hotel.
“This forum represents a space of great relevance for the health sector, and seeks to promote dialogue and interaction between entrepreneurs, experts and leaders in the sector. That is why we invite the entire business community to participate and take advantage of the opportunity to obtain valuable and current information that directly impacts the future of their businesses and Puerto Rico,” said Margaret Ramirez Baez, president of the Puerto Rico Chamber of Commerce.
The meeting will include the participation of the Insurance Commissioner of Puerto Rico, Suzette Del Valle Lecároz, who will present an update on the Annual Report on the State of the Insurance Industry in Puerto Rico 2024.
“We extend a cordial invitation to entrepreneurs, professionals and leaders from diverse sectors to be part of this essential forum, where solutions and proposals that strengthen the island’s entrepreneurial ecosystem will be presented,” said Liza García, executive director of the Puerto Rico Chamber of Commerce.
In addition, four thematic panels will address economic perspectives, experiences in corporate health plans, legislative proposals and opportunities for innovation in the health and wellness sector. The agenda of the event is as follows:
Panel I: Private Sector Perspective: Analysis of the Financial Situation of Health Plans and Business Challenges Moderator: Carlos Dalmau Ramírez, Political Strategist and Professor.
