The condo’sresidents called for help and complained of risks and irregularities in the condo\, but the necessary corrective action was not taken. This tragedy can happen in our beloved Puerto Rico. Are we going to stick to our hands crossed until something similar is here? \nAccording to El Nuevo Día\, on our island\, more than 70% of the structures are over 40 years old and were not built with the latest codes of construction. There are people who are uninspectable and who do not attach importance to the danger to structures when they are not properly checked and who make necessary improvements that pose a danger to residents and/or traders. \nMany people resist change and work hard to save lives to achieve better Puerto Rico. We are here determined TO BRING ABOUT A CHANGE TO the codes\, laws and maintenance of condominiums. \nWhat do we need to make this possible? WE NEED A LEADER!
