Mr. Mejias is a Director at Advent-Morro Equity Partners, a Puerto Rico-based private equity firm focused on making investments in lower-middle market companies. At Advent-Morro, Mr. Mejias leads the investment efforts of the firm’s $40M fund with an investment strategy focused on buyouts and growth equity investments.

Prior to joining Advent-Morro, Mr. Mejias was an Equity Research Analyst for the top-ranked Food & Agribusiness team at BMO Capital Markets – a leading global investment bank based in New York City. Prior to BMO Capital Markets, Mr. Mejias was a Senior Associate in the Consumer Foods & Agribusiness Equity Research team at BB&T Capital Markets. Mr. Mejias began his career working in the corporate banking arm of BB&T working within the Asset Based Lending and Credit Analysis groups. He holds a bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Finance from Loyola University in New Orleans and a Master of Finance degree from Tulane University.
